We have seen that one of the weapons ISIS has been using to battle the Western world, is using the power of the internet. ISIS has reportedly been "recruiting" westerners to join their cause. And surprisingly, some people are. You hear stories of teenagers plotting to travel to Syria to join ISIS, and even Montana kids are being recruited.

According to KTVH in Helena

Nicholas Teausant, a man with ties to Great Falls, has pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization.

Teausant was arrested in March 2014 in Washington.

He spent five months in the Great Falls public school system, and attended Great Falls High School from August of 2010 through January of 2011.

Teausant planned to travel to Canada and then on to Syria to join the Islamic State — often referred to as ISIS or Daesh.

He discussed his plans with a friend who was actually an FBI informant.

Apparently it was no secret hat he was planning to play for the other team, as he would share his plans to join "Allah's Army" on social media.

U.S. Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner said, “One of the things this case points out is the danger of ISIS radicalizing people. It’s a real danger and it can reach individuals anywhere, from any background.”

Teausant, 22 years old, could face up to 15 years in prison when is sentenced in March 2016.
