University of Montana Sports Information Director Eric Taber asked if we would pass along a weekend invitation to devoted Griz fans.

Introducing a new way to get involved with Grizzly Athletics. The athletic department is reaching out to you, the fans, for help in shaping the best game day experience with the creation of the Griz Fan Advisory Board. It's a chance for those selected to connect and interact directly with the department to create an exciting atmosphere at Grizzly athletic events.

The Griz Fan Advisory Board will be made up of 10-15 individuals who will provide feedback, discuss opportunities and challenges and collaborate on new issues. Board members will serve a one-year, non-paid term, with quarterly meetings. If you are interested, the board application must be completed by June 27.  If I may editorialize a bit: it probably goes without saying, but they're not looking for knit-picky bitch and whine board members. Keep it positive, keep it constructive, keep it practical, as in it could actually be accomplished.

If you don't feel you have time or interest to be on an advisory board, they've also created the Fan Feedback Survey, looking for your constructive feedback on how to improve the game day experience. Check it out and Go Griz!
