For those who can't attend Grizzly football games in person, and for those who like to record the games and watch them later, ROOT Sports has released their conference game schedule for Montana.

University of Montana Athletic Director Kent Haslam said Friday, "right now, our game against Northern Arizona on September 28th will be televised, along with our home game against Portland State, the home game against Eastern Washington, and, of course, the big one that comes up the end of November against the Bobcats in Bozeman."

Regarding games like Appalachian State that starts the season for Montana, Haslam said, "those bids are due here in the next couple of weeks. We'll work with Learfield Sports who will manage our non-conference game television rights.

"Naturally," Haslam added, "our goal is to have every game televised, every game we can get on, we want on TV.

"Another question I get almost every day is 'will the Appalachian State game be a night game under the lights?'. I tell them that's my goal to have that game on Saturday, August 31st  under the lights, The only way I could see that changing is if we get some time of a TV opportunity that is really a total win for us," Haslam said.

With spring football over now, there is still tennis, golf and track to finish up.

Then, Haslam said, "before you know it, we'll be staring fall football in the face."
