Guns N’ Roses manager Fernando Lebeis posted a picture captioned “The End…?” after the band completed what appears to be the last show of their "Not in This Lifetime" tour.

The global road trip, which started in 2016, saw the reunion of classic-era members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. The last previously announced show was held Saturday in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Afterward, Alternative Nation reported that Lebeis uploaded an image of Rose walking down a backstage corridor in a bathrobe, along with that rumor-sparking bit of text. The image was not visible on his Instagram page later.

Also following the show, guitarist Slash tweeted: “I/we want to thank ALL of you GNR fans who were with us for any of 159 shows on the #NotinthisLifetime Tour! It has been an amazing ride. & you guys made it amazing. So thank you from the bottom of my/our heart!” Referring to the fact that Saturday’s show marked their first visit to Hawaii, bassist McKagan tweeted: “Thank you Honolulu. Dream come true to finally play here! Thank you WORLD for making this whole tour simply unbelievable! Really …”

Various sources have suggested that Guns N’ Roses could be preparing to announce a live release next month, after they recorded a concert in 2016. Rose remained noncommittal, however, when asked about the chances of new music. “Right now our focus is on touring and the shows," he said in July, "but everyone seems to be getting along so you never know."

The following month, Slash replied to a similar question about a potential return to the studio. “We’ve just started to touch the surface of what that’s going to all be, so I haven’t really fallen into that groove yet," he said. "I think everybody thinks it’s a good idea, and everybody would like to do it. There’s no shortage of ideas from everybody involved, but we’ve been so busy on the road there hasn’t really been time to go in and sit down and go, ‘Okay, we’re going to make a record.’”
