Habitat for Humanity is developing a new mixed-income housing community that will be built right here in Missoula. The project is modeled after a similar one the organization did that found success in Virginia.

The new community will consist of a variety of different homes, including singe-family homes, high-density units, and duplexes. Habitat for Humanity is currently seeking volunteers and community partners to aid with the project. They especially need people and organizations around town to assist the development of the community from a financial perspective.

This will take time, as development on a project like this generally takes about a year-and-a-half. Habitat for Humanity expects to begin in 2021.
