Halestorm have been revealed as one of the performers for the 2013 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The band will play the Buffalo Chip Music Festival at the legendary South Dakota event, opening for ZZ Top on Aug. 4.

The 32nd annual Sturgis Buffalo Chip runs Aug. 2-11. Other confirmed performers for the music week include Kid Rock, Queensryche, Sublime With Rome, Brantley Gilbert and Toby Keith, with more acts expected to be named in the coming months.

Halestorm have enjoyed quite a bit of success from their sophomore album, 'The Strange Case Of…,' with 'Love Bites (So Do I),' 'Here's to Us' and 'I Miss the Misery' already enjoying success and their current single, 'Freak Like Me,' just claiming the No. 1 spot on the Active Rock chart.

Rod Woodruff of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip said of booking the band, "Halestorm is unstoppable. Their recent Grammy Award reinforces the exciting momentum Halestorm will bring to Chip fans. We're proud to have them at the Buffalo Chip for the first time in 2013. Fans will love them."
