The Hamilton Broncs came back strong in the final quarter to overcome a tough Whitefish Bulldog team 62 to 51 in the Western A Divisional basketball tournament. The Broncs won on their home court, though it was not a sure thing. The Broncs led 18 to 10 at the end of one quarter, but then Whitefish tied the game and was ahead 29 to 26 at the half and led in the third quarter, too. The fourth quarter saw the Broncs outscore the Bulldogs 18 to 4 and Hamilton won by 11 points - 62 to 51. The win takes Hamilton to the Friday night semi-final game against Dillon at 8 p.m. Dillon defeated Polson earlier in the evening Thursday by an 81 to 34 final score. The other semi-final game Friday will be between Browning and Butte Central at 6:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Hamilton Lady Broncs will play at 9:30 a.m. Friday against the Corvallis Lady Blue Devils in loser out action. KLYQ will have live play-by-play of both Hamilton games at 1240 AM radio, www.klyq.com and on your cellphone with the free KLYQ app.

2 p.m. - Polson vs Whitefish
6:30 p.m. - Browning vs Butte Central
8 p.m. - Hamilton vs Dillon.
