Hamilton Broncs football team defeated Billings Central in a semi-final Class A State football game Saturday in Hamilton. It was Hamilton 35 - Billings Central 28.

At the same time in Sidney, Columbia Falls beat Sidney in the other Class A semi-final to set up the Championship game Saturday November 18 in Columbia Falls.

Hamilton and Columbia Falls met earlier this season, when the Wildcats slipped by the Broncs for a non-conference win.

By quarters, Billings Central and Hamilton were tied 7 to 7 at the end of the first quarter. In a high-scoring second quarter, Hamilton scored twice, but Billings Central scored three times to lead at the 28 to 21.

The final two quarters were defensive struggles, with both teams scoring once in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, with only three minutes left, Hamilton scored the go-ahead touchdown.

The final score was Hamilton 35 Billings Central 28.
