Blake Flovin, a high school wrestler in San Jose, California says that he contracted the herpes virus because of the contact with opponents and the mat during a recent wrestling match. He has been diagnosed with herpes gladiatorum, which has caused an outbreak of lesions on his face.

To Flovin's credit, he's now trying to get an upcoming wrestling tournament postponed, because he believes he could have spread herpes to fellow wrestlers, and doesn't want it being spread any further.

Unfortunately for Flovin, herpes gladiatorum will stick with him for his entire life, causing periodic flare-ups like you'll see in the video below. Tough luck, kid.
