I have mentioned this album release party a couple times on Local 406, but for those of you who haven’t heard, High Voltage is playing live to celebrate their newest album release. The album is called “Colors,” and the only two tracks I have played for you all are “Colors” and “Summer Snow.” So, I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the album and of course, watching them play their new stuff live. The original date planned for this party was Feb. 16, but the date has been changed to Saturday, March 9.

Luckily, the members of High Voltage have great taste, and have compiled an awesome lineup of bands to help celebrate. Buddy Jackson will be opening at 10 p.m., followed by High Voltage. Minors in Possession, Walking Corpse Syndrome and The Whoopass Girls will complete the party, and play until last call for alcohol. Awesomeness.

The party will be happening at The Dark Horse bar, located at 1805 Regent. Doors will open at 9 p. m. and wristbands will be sold at the door for $10. The new album, “Colors” will be available for purchase at the show for $5. They will also be selling bad ass band apparel. I am totally looking forward to picking up one of their bandanas.

You must not miss this show. I repeat, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW! It’s going to be a good one, and it’s always a thrill when you can support Missoula’s local bands. Visit High Voltage’s Facebook page*hyperlink* for further details and follow them to hear about upcoming shows.
