Law enforcement scanners were ablaze with calls about an incident that took place at the 113 mile marker on I-90 around 10:15 a.m. this morning, January 22.

There was apparently a chase involving stop sticks that were hit. Eyewitnesses report seeing a man surrender at gunpoint to authorities. Highway patrol then drove to St. Patrick Hospital at around 10:39.

Westbound traffic was also blocked near Turah, but has since reopened.

A highway patrol trooper at the scene said that the incident was still under investigation at around noon.
