You may have already heard the news, but after Harold Ramis passed away last year, the new Ghostbusters movie has been preparing to star an all female cast. Lots of people are respecting the fact that they are not trying to make a tired sequel and try a different direction with the female led cast, but one of the original cast members thinks it is a bad idea.

Ernie Hudson, who played Winston in the original movie, says "I heard it was going to be a total reboot, and that it would have nothing to do with the other two movies. If it has nothing to do with the other two movies, and it’s all female, then why are you calling it Ghostbusters? I love females. I hope that if they go that way at least they’ll be funny, and if they’re not funny at least hopefully it’ll be sexy. I love the idea of including women, I think that’s great. But all-female I think would be a bad idea. I don’t think the fans want to see that."

What the fans do want is what made the movie great in the first place. Silly and some-what scary. Funny or Die recently released a video showing what the re-boot should have looked like. But, then again,  they are known for being a little sick a twisted.
