Latin metal act Ill Nino have been going strong for 16 years now and the group has decided to celebrate their beginnings with a tour to commemorate the 15th anniversary of their debut disc. They'll be performing Revolution Revolución in its entirety during the upcoming run. Joining Ill Nino will be hard rockers Bobaflex and horror metal act Terror Universal as support on the lengthy North American trek.

Ill Nino are one of the more unique bands among their contemporaries, infusing Latin elements into their groove heavy sound that employs the use of both harsh screams and soaring clean vocals. Revolution Revolución contains 45 minutes of blistering angst and fans can surely look forward to the group playing their share of other cuts from the remaining six albums in their catalog. Guitarist Ahrue Luster and drummer Dave Chavarri will be pulling double duty as they also play in Terror Universal. Additional support will come from Shattered Sun, Saint Diablo and Voodoo Terror Tribe on select dates. Check local listings to see which acts will be featured at the nearest tour stop.

Excited for the trek, frontman Cris Machado exclaimed, "Nearly two decades later, onward we march to the sound of the war drums. It's safe to say we owe it all to our fans. For our first 10 tours, Revolution, Revolución songs were all we played. Sadly a lot of our debut album went unperformed for many years thereafter, so now's your chance to hear it again! Some may think it's cliché, but the fact is 15 years later here we are and damn f--king right, we're gonna celebrate! We live and die Ill Nino army, Ill Nino familia. Come celebrate 15 Years of Revolution and Latin Metal insanity with us!"

The tour will begin on May 5 in Hollywood, Calif., running through the Southwest, then up the East Coast before heading out to the Midwest. The tour will also touch down in Canada before wrapping in California, coming to an end in Santa Ana almost two months later on June 25.

Ill Nino's most recent album, Till Death, La Familia, was released in 2014 and broke into the Billboard 200, landing at No. 143.
