What a killer pic!  Check that sucker out!  If me, you and every Blaze listener pooled all of our paychecks together we couldn’t afford a ride like that.  So badass.  And the rad part is that Bruce Dickinson, who’s an experienced pilot, was scheduled yesterday to fly 200 passengers stranded in New York by Hurricane Irene, from Newark Airport in Newark, New Jersey to Reykjavik, Iceland.

He was taking them home aboard the band’s Boeing 757, which the band calls “Flight 666 — Ed Force One” in honor of their mascot Eddie.

This wasn’t the first time the band has flown stranded passengers home. In 2006, Bruce piloted the plane that flew 200 U.K. citizens home from Lebanon during the Israel/Hezbollah conflict. And in 2008 he flew 180 stranded U.K. tourists home from Egypt after the collapse of XL Airways.

How totally badass would it be if your favorite band picked your stranded ass up in a Boeing to fly you home?  So rad!
