Yes! Iron Maiden's 'Trooper Ale' is about to become more available in the U.S. The heavy metal brew is tough to find here in the States, but Iron Maiden will be sending 300,000 beers stateside in brand new tallboy cans.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the 'Trooper Ale' tallboys will invade U.S. shores beginning January. The signature beer has sold over 5 million pints and counting since its 2013 debut, and we're certain to see that number shoot upward in the near future.

So, why did Robinsons Brewery decide to go with cans? Chief brewer Martyn Weeks explains, "Firstly, cans are easier to recycle, require less packaging, get colder quicker and take up less space in your fridge. Secondly, cans don't break or smash, meaning they can be taken to venues, sporting events, campgrounds, beaches, and music festivals, where glass is not typically allowed. Thirdly, aluminum cans are excellent protection against light and oxygen - beer’s biggest enemies, so your drink tastes fresher longer."

Weeks adds, "Done right, they’re great for our beer.”

The cans also mark a smart business decision. According to Peter Love, owner of Cask, one of the most successful canning companies in the U.S., sales of craft beer cans are up 89 percent year on year. Bottles, on the other hand, are only up nine percent.

Check your local purveyors of beer early next year for the 'Trooper Ale' tallboy can.
