I just about spit my beer all over our PC screen, when I read that Guns n' Rose's frontman, Axl Rose, is the new bassist for Machine Head. Depending on whether or not you like Axl, the news is almost too good to be true or complete bulls#!t.

According to Metal Sucks

After much speculation, Machine Head have, at last, revealed the identity of their new bassist: it’s former Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose! Rose, who appears to have lost ten or a hundred pounds for his new gig, made his debut with the band in their new video for the song “Now We Die,” which you can check out below.

For those who are not familiar with metalsucks.net, they are known for "goofing" on bands. It is pretty obvious that this news is a hoax. First, the bassist of Machine Head is Jared MacEachern, and secondly he is known for his uncanny Axl Rose impersonations. But I have to admit that I was somewhat stoked to think that Axl, in all his ginger glory, would be on stage at Stage 112 on March 6th.

Don't forget that tickets go on sale Friday (11/14) for the upcoming Machine Head performance at Stage 112, Friday March 6th.
