Maybe nobody told Jack White the Chicago Cubs are more than 13 games out of the race in the NL Central. Or maybe he's just jealous Eddie Vedder got to hang out in the dugout.

Either way, the former White Stripes frontman took a break from playing a zillion cover songs on tour to watch the Cubs host the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field last night. White, who is from Detroit, was in town ahead of two shows in the Windy City tonight and tomorrow.

As seen in the still image above, White looked less than thrilled sitting in the stands even though the Cubs did win 6-0. Perhaps he'd be a lot more comfortable in Kansas City, considering he recently covered the ubiquitous hit 'Royals' by Lorde. You can also catch video of White looking a bit less miserable at the game in the clip below, as well as an Instragram shot of White, Vedder, Cubs GM Theo Epstein and owner Tom Ricketts.
