Jonathan Davis has a long history of collaborating with artists both in metal and way outside the genre. The Korn frontman has hooked up with a plethora of eclectic artists including Sepultura, Orgy, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, as well as rapper Xzibit, Infected Mushroom, producer and DJ Datsik and a collaboration with Emigrate featuring Rammstein’s Richard Kruspe. His latest collaboration may really surprise fans as Davis is going country recording with Big and Rich.

Davis took to Instagram and posted a photo of the duo in a studio with the caption, “Working with Big and Rich on a country music project #bakersfieldsound.” See the photo below. Other than that one sentence from Davis, there's nothing to report on the collaboration, but for fans of both Korn and country music (and we know you're out there), it's something to look forward to in the future.

In other news, Davis recently shared a snippet of his new song “Can You Hear Me,” which he recorded with the Zen Studio from Antelope Audio. The portable audio interface comes with 12 microphone preamps, 20 audio inputs, built in effects and a lot more. You can read all about it here. Watch the video clip below.

Korn with kick off a tour of Europe on June 20 in Dessel, Belgium. Check out all their tour dates here.
