You probably don't remember much about your sixth grade graduation, but these kids will forever! Recently, footage was posted on Instagram that featured Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme, his rocker wife Brody Dalle and Garbage band member / Nirvana producer Butch Vig playing a cover of Cheap Trick's "Surrender" together as part of a graduation party.

Speculatively, the party may have been for Homme's oldest daughter, Camille Harley Joan Homme, who would be about 11 years old, as NME reports. As seen in the video below, Homme and friends are having a good time playing the tune while the crowd bounced and danced around.

Seems like a nice break for Homme, who is getting ready for the release of QOTSA's new album, Villains, which arrives on Aug. 25. So far, we've heard the single "The Way You Used To Do," which features an absolutely killer chorus and is some of the band's catchiest work to date.

Of the album, Homme said, “The most important aspect of making this record was redefining our sound, asking and answering the question ‘what do we sound like now?’ If you can’t make a great first record, you should just stop—but if you can make a great record but you keep making records and your sound doesn’t evolve, you become a parody of that original sound.”

The disc is produced by Mark Ronson, who is responsible for a wide range of different albums, from Bruno Mars to Duran Duran.

Best 6th grade graduation party ever! Can't possibly imagine a better one! #queensofthestoneage #QOTSA #nirvana
