Chancy from Snappy’s
Chancy at Snappy’s says there’s still some pretty good ice up there. Upper Stillwater has had good reports on Mackinaw, Lower Stillwater has had reports of some nice perch, pike, and macks. Hubbard Reservoir few reports on salmon 10-14 inches and rainbows about the same size. Little Macgregor been fishing well for rainbows and big perch, FrankLake by Eureka has some nice reports on some nice rainbows, kind of slow though. Upper Thompson has had some nice perch, but you have to weed through the smaller ones to get the bigger ones. EchoLake been doing well before daylight and just before day break on salmon.

Leonard from Roberts Bait and Tackle
Leonard from Robert’s Bait and Tackle says we’re losing ice. Holter and Piscan has opened up a bit, Bynum is losing ice, Francis, Tiber, and Fresno are still holding pretty good. If you have any questions or need rod & reel repair call Leonard 406-454-1877.

Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon
Shelby from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says the Beaverhead and Big Hole are starting to do well with wooly buggers and zonkers. And prince nymphs and copper Johns have seen success on the Big Hole as well. Shelby cautions us on the ice and to be careful out there, there’s thinning ice around the edges and about 8 inches on the South side of the Lake. Folks are using worms on trout jigs, with maggots, and crawlers. If you’re in the Dillon area, stop into Rocky Mountain Supply for more information or call 406-683-2308.
