Man Tries to Take a Kitten Into Florida Strip Club

Evidently, it’s not cool to bring along cute and cuddly animals when going to a strip club.

According to a press release issued by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s office, Everett Lages was arrested outside of the Emerald City strip club in Murdock, Florida after repeatedly calling 911 when the owner of the club refused to let him enter with a kitten. Apparently, he didn’t have enough cash to cover the kitty cat’s cover charge.

After the owner kicked the 47-year-old man out of the club for bringing in his own “pussy”, the man sat down outside and called the police – which is never a good idea when mixing strip clubs and four legged animals.

However, after arriving on the scene authorities said that even though Lages appeared to be intoxicated, the kitten was stone sober.

Sheriff’s deputies then called Lages a taxi, but after he refused to tell the cab driver where he lived and continued to repeatedly call 911, police arrested him on misuse of the 911 system, disorderly intoxication, trespassing after warning and resisting arrest.

Police also arrested the kitten for committing an indecent act after it apparently relieved itself in the parking lot. However, the kitten was not charged with any crime and turned loose because deputies felt guilty for putting it in handcuffs.
