Lansdowne–Opening For Puddle of Mudd TONIGHT
Spent some time today listening to Lansdowne, they're fairly middle of the road rock. Solid band, exactly what I expected from a band opening for Pop Evil and Puddle of Mudd. On some songs they remind me just a smidge of Sevendust, in other songs I'm hearing some Hinder influence. They cite Theory of a Deadman and Saving Abel as influences and you can definitely hear that.
On their Facebook they also list these as influences:
All the relationships we've screwed up from spending 8 months every year on the road.
Our fans and friends that have become our family.
Waking up half-clothed and half-sober at noon with no idea where we are.
Judging by that and their photo gallery, it certainly appears that these boys like to party. Which I love. I hate when you meet bands and they're painfully boring. They don't even need to be partying necessarily, just be FUN, ya know? These guys definitely look like a damn good time, the kind of band that loves what they do and loves being on tour. You can just tell.
5 dudes outta Boston, coming to rock your face tonight at the Wilma.
