Last Phoenix Homegame ‘Til Next Month

The Clark Fork Rush will be coming to town trying to avenge their 28-12 preseason loss earlier this year vs the Phoenix.  The Rush are currently 2-2 in regular season play while your Phoenix are 1-3, so this game is crucial for a playoff position in the Rocky Mountain Football League AA North Division.  Game time is at 7pm sharp and tickets are only $5.00!   If you can't make it to the game, remember, you can watch it live on the Missoula Phoenix Video page!

Last week, your Phoenix were in another close game vs the Idaho Matadors (4-0).  The Phoenix took a 12-0 lead on the Matadors, but could not hold it and lost in a heartbreaking fashion 26-18.   The Phoenix have led in every game they have played this year, but the fourth quarter just has not been very friendly to them!  This week, your Phoenix are planning on finishing what they started and are going to give our fans a full 4 quarters of hard hitting football!

On a more serious note, during last weekend's game the Matadors locker room was broken into and many priceless and very sentimental items were stolen from the visiting players.  We are asking that if anyone has any information to please contact the Phoenix organization or the local police so that we can retrieve these items and get them back to their rightful owners.   For more details, you can read the articles written in the Missoulian this week.  If you happen to be reading this and you were one of the guilty parties, you can mail the items to PO Box 1211, Missoula, MT 59806.  There is a reward for any information that will lead to these items being retrieved.
