Nate Mendel has already unveiled ‘Belle Epoque’ and ‘Believe the Squalor,’ two songs from his upcoming solo album, for which the Foo Fighters bassist has adopted the moniker Lieutenant. Now, he’s premiering a third track, ‘Rattled,’ in advance of the LP’s arrival. Take a listen above.

Mendel will drop his debut solo effort, ‘If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going to Eat for a Week,’ on March 2 via Dine Alone Records. The album will reportedly include guest spots from Joe Plummer (The Shins, Modest Mouse), the Foos’ Chris Shiflett, Mendel's former Sunny Day Real Estate bandmate Jeremy Enigk and more.
