Hard working local metal band Walking Corpse Syndrome joined me yesterday for Local 406 and we chatted about shows, facial hair, the new album, and their Kickstarter project.  If you are not familiar with Kickstarter, it is a website that allows you to share your project and receive funding pledges.  The members of WCS are determined to put a new album out and by the look of their Kickstarter page, their fans are more than willing to help, but more help is needed!

Kickstarter is an all or nothing pay out.  If you do not reach the goal  you have set, none of the pledges are charged.  WCS has already received over $3,000 in pledges , but unless they hit their goal of $10,000 all those pledges are void and fans will have to wait a little longer for the next Walking Corpse Syndrome album.  The cool thing about this is your not just handing out your hard earned cash... the band is hooking you up with some awesome limited edition merch as a thank you for your support! There is everything from $1 stickers to a $10,000 tattoo (pledge $10k and lead singer Leif will tattoo your name on his leg).

Come see Walking Corpse Syndrome play live at Monks on October 25th for the Jagermeister Monster Mash!
