A 14-year-old girl who lives in Evaro recently got her first job and worked hard all summer. Each time she received a paycheck, she didn't blow it on summer fun, she saved every dime she made for back to school shopping. Over the summer, young Maddy learned the importance of keeping a job and being responsible with money.

And then it was all taken from her.

On Wednesday, August 10th, a very excited Maddy and her family headed for the thrift shop on Main Street in Polson to shop for back to school clothes. Sadly, while they were there, some inconsiderate jerk stole Maddy's wallet and the $250 she had earned over the summer. Her mother confirms that Maddy did not lose the wallet, it was definitely stolen, and they are working with the store to go over security camera footage to find a possible suspect.

The family was at the store from approximately 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Maddy's wallet is described as a men's camouflaged wallet. If you have any information or would like to anonymously return the wallet, please contact The Blaze offices at 406-728-9300.
