Just before 4:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, Missoula Police were called to investigate an incident at what appears to have been a house party.

"Officers were called to a residence in the 2200 block of Briggs Street where a young man was making himself very unwelcome in a residence," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "The report was that he was causing a disturbance that included yelling at nothing and nobody and causing damage to items inside the residence."

Police came and tried to find the suspect, who added the charge of obstructing a peace officer to his record after police arrived.

"When officers arrived they did briefly make contact with the male, however, when they attempted to identify him and speak with him he turned and ran back inside the house," Welsh said. "He was eventually taken into custody and at this time he is being held on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to burglary."

The police report notes that the 18-year-old was also intoxicated during the incident, which could lead to yet more charges. His bond was set at over $50,000.
