Zombie shows have been around for decades, but recently they have been really popular. Shows like Zombieland and The Walking Dead are huge successes. But, the zombie craze has even spread to marketing products to people who are fascinated with the "zombie apocalypse."

A man in Minnesota was recently arrested for shooting an AR-15 at a neighbors house.

According to WCCO in Minneapolis

...the incident happened near the intersection of Memory Lane and Cowern Place East. Police who were summoned there at about 5 a.m. Saturday were told by the resident he was awakened by a gunshot and the sound of glass breaking in his room.

Just outside the residence, police noted 24-year-old Ryan Mathew Stanislaw walking with an AR-15 rifle slung over his neck.

“I’m out here making sure my neighborhood is safe,” he told officers, allegedly smelling of alcohol. “I didn’t see the cops, so I figured I’d do something.”

Stanislaw told police that he was shooting at “a zombie” up the road.

The report says that Stanislaw was carrying a rifle loaded with "Z-Max bullets." Ammo that is specifically marketed to people for use in a possible zombie attack.

This is just proof that alcohol and firearms are never a good idea. But the report never tells if the shooter actually shot a zombie. Could it be the beginning of a zombie apocalypse? Our guess is NO.
