Another week, and another $50,000 bond has been requested for a parole violation in Missoula County, this time for 42-year old Dallas Lee Schaefer.

"Mr. Schaefer was arrested approximately two years ago by the Missoula County Sheriff's office after he fled and eluded deputies from a DUI traffic stop," explained Missoula County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Paige Pavalone. "One of our deputies tried to stop him on West Broadway, but he wouldn't stop, he got on the interstate and proceeded at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. He was eventually stopped in East Missoula and taken into custody, but since then he has violated his probation numerous times."

Schaefer's last known address is on Ruger Lane in East Helena. He is 5'10" and weighs 165 pounds. Anyone with information on Mr. Schaefer is advised to call Five Valley Crime Stoppers at 721-4444.

On December 3, a Wanted Persons release was sent out by the Missoula County Sheriff's Department for Joe Hanson of Lolo. That case also involved a parole violation and a $50,000 bond request, but is a completely separate incident.
