Metallica frontman James Hetfield has filmed a PSA to help the investigation into a fan's death in Virginia three years ago. Morgan Harrington disappeared after the band's show in Charlottesville, Virginia in October 2009, and her body was found in January 2010 in a remote field in Albemarle County, Virginia. Using DNA, police have be able to connect the murder to a 2005 sexual assault in Fairfax City, Virginia and have released a composite sketch created from a description by the sexual assault victim.

In the PSA. Hetfield asks that if you have more information on the case or if you recognize the person in the sketch, call the Virginia State Police at 434-352-3467. The reward is up to $150,000, with $50,000 of it coming from Metallica.
