Metallica tribute band Blistered Earth of Missoula & Spokane started their week with terrible news, and wrapped up their week with incredible news.

On Saturday, April 22nd, Blistered Earth played a show in Portland, Oregon and when they woke up the next day, their trailer full of gear and equipment had been stolen. So their irreplaceable classic guitars and drum kit were gone, and they were devastated.

A few days later, to the band's absolute surprise, Lars Ulrich, THE Lars, called Blistered Earth's drummer, Shawn Murphy, and on behalf of Metallica, offered to replace all of their stolen gear.
