While Metallica were rockin' faces at this year's Lollapalooza in Chicago, bassist Rob Trujillo's son was rockin' little faces at Kidzapalooza.

Perry Ferrell (Jane's Addiction) started Lollapalooza back in 1991, and as his kids grew up, he wanted them to be able to be part of the festival. So he added a Kidzapalooza stage to highlight grade school, middle school and high school rock bands.

Eleven-year-old Tye Trujillo is also a bassist and plays in a band called the Jimmy's and the Helmets (tee hee), and to no surprise, wants to continue to play bass in a band when he grows up. Love when the kids can get involved in being exposed to great music, very cool!
