David Phillip Kaiser, 54, reported missing on June 29, spoke to Ravalli County Sheriff's detectives at his home in Victor on Monday afternoon. Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman said the search for Kaiser went regional.

"During the period of the search, investigators received leads on possible sightings of Mr. Kaiser in Livingston, Montana at a 4th of July festival, and again later in a casino in Reno, Nevada," Hoffman said.

Hoffman said Kaiser is remaining tight-lipped about where he has been while so many people have been searching for him.

"Mr. Kaiser has not given us a statement at this time, and the details of his reappearance remain unclear," Hoffman said. "He did not wish to speak to us without his attorney present."

Hoffman said authorities are happy to see that Kaiser is alive and safe at his home in Victor.

"We appreciate all the help we got from the community and just wanted people to know that he is safe and sound and back in the area," the sheriff said.
