The Missoula International Airport announced Thursday that Delta Airlines will begin offering non-stop flights from Missoula to Atlanta, Georgia starting in late June.

Airport director Chris Jensen says “We want to thank Delta Air Lines for furthering their commitment to our community.” Jensen added “We’ve had a great partnership with Delta and look forward to the opportunities the new service will provide for our businesses and our leisure travelers.”

The Saturday-only flights start June 22nd and run through August 31st. the flight will originate in Atlanta at 10:25 a.m. and arrive in Missoula at 1:03 p.m. The outbound flight will leave Missoula at 1:45 p.m. and arrive in Atlanta at 7:51 p.m.

Jensen says Atlanta is the world's busiest airport and will enable Delta to continue service to Missoula travelers anywhere in the world.
