Missoula Man Accidentally Shot By Friend [AUDIO]

A Missoula man was taken to the St. Patrick Hospital emergency room after being accidentally shot by a friend in his apartment.

Sergeant Colin Rose with the Missoula police department says the two men made the mistake of mixing alcohol with handling a firearm, and one of the men was shot in the upper abdomen.

Rose says the incident occurred in an apartment on the 2300 block of South Third Street West. He says the shooting victim is not facing a life-threatening injury and should make a full recovery.

An investigation is underway by Missoula police.
