Stanford Alan Lewis, 29, currently an inmate in an Arizona prison, convicted in 2012 of raping a young girl, was charged in Missoula Justice Court Monday for raping the same girl in 2004 while living in Missoula.

According to court documents, Deputy Missoula County Attorney Patty Bower alleges that a young girl, identified as Jane Doe, her sister and her sister's husband were staying in the basement of a friend's home in Missoula. The young girl, who was six or seven years old at the time, usually slept between the two adults in the same bed. One night, the child awoke and was in pain because she said the man, identified as Lewis, had raped her.

Lewis has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, which carries a maximum term of 100 years in prison, and a fine not to exceed $50,000.

Judge Karen Orzech set bail for Lewis at $100,000, though he is already serving a sentence for sexually assaulting the child in Arizona.
