Missoula Man Killed In Car Pedestrian Accident

A 25-year-old Missoula man is dead after a pickup truck hit him late Thursday night.

Sergeant Rick Stevenson with the Missoula Police Department spoke with KGVO News on Friday morning

“It appears the victim was walking eastbound on Rodgers Street near the Missoula City Cemetery in Missoula,” Stevenson said. “The investigation indicates that a 29-year-old Missoula man was driving eastbound on Rodgers Street and struck the pedestrian. MPD responded at 11:00 p.m.”

Stevenson says the collision caused fatal injuries to the pedestrian.

“First responders attempted CPR but the life saving measures were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene,” he said.

No charges have been filed at this point, pending investigation.
