Missoula Music Scene ‘Bands Together’ for Local Musician
Missoula’s local music scene is a tight knit community. We take care of each other, lend each other equipment, help each other load in/load out, promote each other’s shows. So when one of our own needs help, we pitch in.
Local musician, well known sound engineer & event coordinator are just a few of Mike Avery’s talents. If you don’t know him personally, you’ve likely seen him with a big grin on his face at local shows. Mike has been diagnosed with cancer and we’d love for you to join us for a benefit to help him with his ever growing medical bills.
“We Band Together” will be held Friday, May 26th at the Badlander. Bands scheduled to play so far are The Conversion, Two Foot Titan, Shot Stereo, Megaton Gypsies and Time To Kill, with more bands to be announced soon. The show will start at 7 p.m. with a $5 cover (and any additional donation you would like to contribute), with all door proceeds going directly to Mike.
You’ll also have an opportunity to buy raffle tickets for some incredible prizes, including tickets & camping for this year’s Rockin’ The Rivers. Plan to join us on the 26th at the Badlander for a night of kick ass rock and to help out a fellow Missoula musician.
