Missoula police are searching for an armed man who robbed a convenience store early Saturday morning.

Sergeant Colin Rose said the man held up the convenience store across from Dornblaser Stadium at Higgins and South Avenue.

"At about 2:01 this morning, Missoula police responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store at South Avenue and Higgins," Rose said. "The clerk there said a single white male in his 20's entered the business, brandished a pistol and left with an undisclosed amount of cash."

Rose provided a description of the suspect.

"He's about six feet tall with a medium build," he said. "He was wearing a zip-up hoodie sweatshirt that was red and blue with horizontal stripes. His face was covered with a black bandana, and he was wearing blue jeans."

Rose said no one was hurt in the robbery.

Anyone who may have any information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to contact the Missoula Police Department at 552-6300, or Missoula Crimestoppers at 721-44-44.
