I don't wanna give you a "Back in my day" speech. But it seems like "snow days" are rare occurences here in Montana. We are used to extreme weather. I feel like the bus drivers back in my public school days were as diligent as postmen. " Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." For us here in Montana to get two consecutive "snow days" says a lot about how bad this recent winter storm really is. According to the MCPS website: "All MCPS elementary, middle and high schools, as well as the Lifelong Learning Center, will close on Friday, Jan. 20, due to continued severe weather and hazardous road conditions. All Friday school-related activities will be cancelled. We anticipate elementary and middle schools will reopen on Monday at their usual time. High schools will reopen Tuesday, as high school students were previously scheduled to be out of school on Monday."
So plan ahead for tomorrow if you have little ones and make the proper arrangements. Also, according to the National Weather service it is gonna heat up just enough to make things slick and sloppy tomorrow. So now is the time to think about planning ahead for tomorrows commute.
