Thanks to many dedicated and generous people, Missoula boasts the most one-day Memorial Day wreath presentations in the U.S.A.

The wonderful folks from the United Veterans Council of Missoula and Ravalli Counties were nice enough to send us a schedule of ceremonies. Hopefully everyone can find at least one or two of these meaningful presentations you'd like to attend on Memorial Day, May 28.

6:30-7:00 a.m. : Sunrise wreath presentation at Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery at flag poles (7 wreaths).

7:00-10:00 a.m. : Breakfast members and supporters of Veterans of Foreign Wars, 245 West Main, Missoula. Donations requested to offset cost of food.

10:00 a.m. : Caras Park overlook above Clark Fork River (toss 1 wreath in river).

10:30 a.m. : Missoula County Courthouse, front lawn by WW I Doughboy Statue (4 wreaths).

11:00 a.m. : Fort Missoula Military Cemetery by Ole Beck grave (1 wreath).

11:30 a.m. : Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery at flagpoles (7 wreaths).

12:00-1:00 p.m. : Sunset Memorial Gardens, Mullan Road (2 wreaths)

1:30 p.m. : Missoula City Cemetery at Veterans Memorial (1 wreath).

2:00 p.m. : St. Mary's Cemetery Annex at statue (1 wreath).

2:30 p.m. : St. Mary's Cemetery Veterans Memorial (3 wreaths)

3:15 p.m. : Rose Memorial Garden Park, starting at Vietnam Memorial and walking to the other park memorials (20 wreaths). 

4:15 p.m. : Iraq/Afghanistan Memorial at University of Montana (5 wreaths).
