Missoula’s MisCon 2014
MisCon, Missoula’s science fiction, fantasy, and gaming convention, returns for their 28th year.
- MisCon: 28 Years Later
- May 23-26
- Ruby's Inn & Convention Center, 4825 N. Reserve Street
- $40 for a 4 day adult pass, $15 for a 4 day kid's pass
- One day passes also available
This year's convention promises appearances by novelist Steven Erikson, illustrator Todd Lockwood, stunt double Peter Kent and owners of DAW Books to Missoula this Memorial Day weekend.
MisCon’s four‐day celebration includes a wide array of programming for all ages, including a writers’ workshop, art show and auction, tabletop gaming, costume pageant, and panel discussions with professionals.
Montana's longest running science fiction convention sounds like a nerd fest, which I'm sure the dedicated, hard working organizers would agree with, but I've personally heard it's a mega party. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that it's the only major annual meeting in Missoula that brings in more costumes than Maggotfest.
