We are getting excited for the Ghost concert this weekend at the Wilma. We recently asked you to submit a spooky ghost story, to win tickets to the Ghost concert. As always, you did not disappoint. Reading though all the submissions, I got actual goose bumps. But, we could only pick three winners. The following is a creepy story from Stephanie, regarding a ghostly little girl haunting her home.

I was renting the upstairs in a house from a friend of the family who needed help with his fourteen year old grand daughter. He had custody of her and had previously lived alone. He worked long hard hours and wasn't able to get her off to school in the mornings or be there when she got home, so for cheap rent, I took on the roll. Her best friend stayed there often also.
I was home alone one day, upstarts watching t.v. When I heard a few noises from downstairs. Knowing nobody was home, my first thought was maybe it was just their cat playing around. When I got up to check, I saw him asleep on the landing at the bottom of the stairs. My next thought was someone was home early, or someone had broken in.
Prepared for either situation, I went down to check only to find the house empty, and silent. Shaking it off I went back upstairs.
I sat back down on the couch. From where I was sitting I could clearly see the top of the stairs, out of the corner of my eye.
A few minutes later I saw a little girl peeking around the banister as if she had crawled up the stairs. She had short, dark curly hair that fell in tiny ringlets. When I turned to look at her she ducked back down the stairs quickly.
It was about 2:30 in the afternoon. The girls shouldn't have been home from school until about 3:30.
I thought maybe they got home early or something and were playing tricks on me, so I once again went down to check. Nothing. I called both their names. Nothing.
I went back up stairs not knowing what to think, maybe they had ran outside or something?
At 3:30, they walked in the door, carrying their backpacks, just getting home from school. I questioned them about what I had seen and neither one could answer me.
Two weeks went by with nothing out of the ordinary.
Until one night.
They were in their bedroom playing around with her new camera. I heard a scream and doors slam shut and ran downstairs to see what was going on.
They had been hanging upside down off the bed taking pictures. In one of the pictures the same exact little girl I had seen on the stairs was under their bed, little ringlet curled hair and all.
Freaked out, we started to do some research on the house. Turns out it use to be a children's hospital before it was renovated into a family home. Many children died there from illnesses. I'm guessing at least one of them is still there.

Thanks for the story Stephanie. The fact that you had a personal experience, followed up with actual evidence is HUGE. The image in my mind, of the little girl peeking around the corner of the banister, gave me chills. We will see you at the Ghost concert on Sunday. It is an ALL AGES show, if you want to bring your "little buddy" with you?

Also keep in mind the upcoming annual Blaze Ghost Hunt is almost here, and we will be looking for listeners to join our team for a REAL paranormal investigation.
