We are getting excited for the Ghost concert this weekend at the Wilma. We recently asked you to submit a spooky ghost story, to win tickets to the Ghost concert. As always, you did not disappoint. Reading though all the submissions, I got actual goose bumps. But, we could only pick three winners. The following is a creepy story from Joe, regarding a spirit that REALLY needed a shower.

While in college, my girlfriend, (later my wife), and I rented a 1 bdr. house on our landlord's property. It was winter and everything was fine except when I sat in the comfortable chair the cats would run and hide under our bed. After graduation I got a job out of town, coming home on weekends. As the weather got warmer we noticed a body odor whenever I sat in the chair. We cleaned the chair to no avail. My girlfriend finally asked the owners if anything happened in the house esp. the chair. After a pause they told her that the tenant before us, an older man had died in the chair and was there for a week before anyone found him. A few weeks later while talking to my mom and telling her the story she said the man needs a shower--show him the shower, soap and a towel that he doesn't know he needs a shower or he may have forgotten where it is. So (being a good son) that night I showed him the shower, soap, and got him a clean towel and explained to him that he no longer pays the rent we do and he was welcome to stay but he had to shower and not stink our house up. From then on, until we moved, every couple of weeks i'd have to tell him he was starting to smell and show him the shower, soap and clean towel. The cats still ran and hid under the bed whenever I sat in the chair but at least our house didn't stink.

We all know how that combination of foot and onion odor. The thought of having to persuade a ghost to wash his ass, cracked us up. Thanks for the story Joe, We will see you at the Ghost show.

Also keep in mind the upcoming annual Blaze Ghost Hunt is almost here, and we will be looking for listeners to join our team for a REAL paranormal investigation.
