In case you haven't already noticed, I am stoked for Spring Turkey this year. Maybe it is a case of cabin fever or maybe it is all the nice spring weather we have been having, but I am anxious to get outside and hunt. Spring Turkey is set to open tomorrow morning 4/11. This year I locked down a great location to hunt, the only thing the landowner asks is that I use my archery equipment instead of a shotgun. No problem....Right?

It is not that I am not confident with my ability to shoot, but the fact that it is adding a bunch of factors into possibly missing a shot. Thankfully, our friend Bill at Bob Wards, hooked me up with some decoys and a new broadhead called the "Tom Bomb." These things look deadly.

The "Tom Bomb" is supposed to be used to remove the birds head. Making the shot placement that much more difficult. But the results are gnarly. Check out a video of a couple of hunters using a product similar to the "Tom Bomb." They call it the "Bullhead."
