The study shows that Moms here in Montana are big fans of being fed. Simply taking Mom out for a meal or making her breakfast is the most popular way to say "thanks Mom" in Montana. Whether you serve pancakes in bed, or take Mom out for a GIANT T-bone steak—the quickest way to a Montana Mom's heart is through her stomach.

The most popular gifts in other states are cosmetics and makeup, as well as a trip to the spa, which were the number one most popular gifts in 12 states. Travel, spas, and even CASH were popular in other states. I know my Mom would fall out of her chair if I offered up cash as a gift. She would probably think it was some kind of prank, considering my struggles with finances. Thankfully buying dinner is an option.
