You name a "Vacation" movie and I can quote just about every word. "Christmas Vacation" is by far my favorite holiday movie, and is part of my annual family tradition. After "Vegas Vacation" I was concerned that it may all be over for the Griswolds. I was wrong, as Warner Brothers, is bringing the Griswolds back for a reboot. This time around, it is Rusty's turn to take his family to Wally World. Let's Just hope that it is open this time.

According to Today
The reboot, simply titled "Vacation," will feature Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold and Christina Applegate as his wife Debbie, while Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will be reprising their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold for the first time since 1997's "Vegas Vacation." Rusty's sister Audrey, played by Leslie Mann, will also be making an appearance in the film, rounding out the immediate family.

There's no word on whether or not Randy Quaid will be reprising his role as the zany-yet-lovable cousin Eddie (but a guy can dream).

Much like the original Griswolds, Rusty and Debbie will be making a cross-country trek to America's favorite family fun park, bringing along their two kids for what's sure to be anything but a smooth ride.

"Vacation" is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31.

Judging from Randy Quaid's high jinks recently, I highly doubt Cousin Eddie will be making a comeback in the reboot. Bummer! Check out some of the best of Cousin Eddie
