TMZ reports former "Celebrity Rehab" star Shifty Shellshock is currently in a coma in an L.A. hospital.

According to sources, the former Crazy Town singer has been in the ICU since last Thursday and is completely unresponsive. It's unclear what put him there -- but people close to him believe it was drug-related.

Shifty is scheduled to appear in court this week for a pre-trial hearing -- after his February coke arrest. We're (TMZ) told he was extremely anxious about the possibility of going to jail.

Serj Tankian has titled his third solo album Harakiri. No official release date has been set, but it will likely be out in mid-summer. Tankian is expected to tour behind the album, mixing in some festival dates with System of a Down.

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno says the band is done with the pre-production for its next album and will start recording on July 9th. Moreno tells Chilean website La Tercera, "I know everyone says this, but I think it will be the best album we've recorded. I am very excited about it because it sounds futuristic compared to our last album, Diamond Eyes -- so it feels like a step forward."

Red Hot Chili Peppers are giving away a live EP through their website. I'm With You Europe 2011 features tracks from throughout their career, including "Dani California," "Give It Away" and "Look Around."

You'll also be able to purchase live recordings of every show on the Chilis' North American tour at LiveChiliPeppers.com. They'll play Raleigh, North Carolina tomorrow.

Ozzy Osbourne, last April's Record Store Day Ambassador, is supporting this month's celebration of independent record shops on April 21st. He's releasing two limited-edition vinyl discs -- Live, a two-disc numbered set recorded in 1981 on the Blizzard Of Ozz tour with guitarist Randy Rhoads, and "Believer," a live seven-inch single on polka-dot vinyl. It features a 2010 guitar and vocal mix of "Goodbye to Romance" on the flipside.

This year's Record Store Day Ambassador is Iggy Pop.
