Would you pay more than $10,000 for an album autographed by the members of Nirvana? One true fan recently did.  Diffuser.FM reports that it happened on eBay, where a package that included a Nevermind CD sleeve signed by Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, a letter of authenticity and ticket stubs from a few of the band's concerts finally found a new home. In this case, third time was the charm -- twice before it had failed to sell at the "Buy It Now" price of $9,999 plus shipping costs.

Today marks the 18th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death.

Shinedown have scored the biggest sales week and highest debut of their career with Amaryllis. The album will debut at number-four on the Billboard 200, with 106,000 copies sold last week, according to the latest SoundScan figures.
Shinedown's previous high came when The Sound of Madness debuted at number-eight with 50,000 copies sold in 2008.
With singer-guitarist Myles Kennedy spending much of this year singing in Slash's band and the other three members touring with Creed this spring and summer, they won't have much time to write together. Guitarist Mark Tremonti says Alter Bridge is focused on 2013 and hopes to write and record and release an album in time for next year's summer festivals.
The Cult will hit the road just days after their new album, Weapon of Choice, is released on May 22nd. Ian Astbury and company will get the trek under way in San Diego on May 25th and visit 20 cities before wrapping things up on June 22nd in Tempe, Arizona.
