A woman on Missoula's north side called police on Sunday morning, March 30, to report that she had been raped by a man she returned to her home with after a party the night before.

Missoula Police Department Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said the woman lived on Turner Street, where the alleged rape occurred.

"She had been at a party the night before and had gone back to her home in the 100 block of Turner Court accompanied by a male she had met at the party," Welsh said. "Once at her residence, at about 1:30 a.m. she said he raped her before leaving."

Welsh said the woman was able to describe her attacker.

"He was described as a white male, tall and skinny, anywhere from 5 feet eight to five feet 10 inches tall, from 150 to 180 pounds," Welsh said. "She said he was clean-shaven and had no visible tattoos."

Welsh said police are asking the public to provide any information possible to bring this alleged rapist into custody.

"Anyone who may know who this is, or who may have any other information, please contact Missoula Crimestoppers at 721-44-44, or contact Detective Mark Blood at the Missoula Police Department at 552-6300."
